The original 18th century building is still in use and is the site for our tap room 'The Captain's Cabin'. The cabin with it's log fire, real ales and continental largers is an ideal place for a cosy, quiet drink or a get-together with friends.

Food served from 12.00pm to 9.30pm every day, Sunday 'til 9.00pm.

With a 70 cover restaurant and separate lounge seating for more informal dining, we can cater for you, whatever your needs.

Our seasonally changing menu and frequently changing specials exhibits our desire to produce dishes which feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

The Anchor can be the ideal place for your function, large or small. Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays and Funerals can all be catered for and we can personally tailor your menu requirements to suit your individual needs.
